When you visit our website

When you create a user account with us and apply for housing, you need to share your name, social security number, a copy of your passport, ID card, or any other national identification, a confirmation of your employment, and a copy of your income from employment. Renthia handles this personal data in order to ensure the identity of the potential guest in the accommodation in order to ensure security around Renthia's service. The company's legal basis for this is partly to be able to fulfill the contract with you, and partly a balancing of interests in being able to mediate verified persons to the house owner.

When you register as a user and wants to lease your accommodation

When you create a user account with us and apply for leasing your accommodation, you need to provide Renthia with the organization number, the name of the legal person, and contact information to the responsible person of the company.

Renthia handles this personal data in order to secure the identity of the potential homeowner of the accommodation in order to ensure security around Renthia's service. The company's legal basis for this is partly to be able to fulfill the contract with you, and partly a balancing of interests in being able to provide safe and reliable accommodation and homeowners to the guests.

When you contact our support

When you contact our support, it is voluntary to use your name and other contact information. If your case concerns a booking through us, we will not be able to help you specifically in that case without you stating which booking it is. If you provide your personal information when you contact us, we process this in order to be able to answer your question and help you in the matter. The legal basis is, in case you are a customer with us, to be able to fulfill our agreement with you. If you are not a customer of ours, our legal basis is a balancing of interests, where Renthia has an interest in being able to answer and handle the questions that come in.

4. COOKIES

Cookies are small text files that give us information about how you use our site. It helps us to register the number of visitors and gives us statistics and information about how many users we have on the site and what they do. 5. STORAGE TIME

Renthia stores personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected or as long as the Company is obliged to store personal data in accordance with the law. In some cases, personal data may be stored longer to protect the Company's legal interests, e.g. in a legal process. The personal data is then deleted.

Certain personal data will, in order to comply with relevant accounting legislation, be stored for seven years, calculated from the end of the calendar year in which the financial year to which the information belongs was closed.

Personal information attributable to the user accounts on the website is stored for as long as the user account lasts, or for a maximum of three (3) years after the user account was last used.

Contact information for company representatives is stored during the time the Company deems that the information is necessary to maintain the relationship with the company. Deletion shall take place as soon as possible when Renthia becomes aware that the information is no longer adequate or relevant for the purpose, or at the request of the contact persons.

Renthia only shares your personal information when absolutely necessary. For example, a potential guest's personal data is shared with the one who leases the accommodation (“homeowner”), so that the homeowner can approve it.

Free register extract

When Renthia is responsible for personal data, you have, at any time, the right to receive a register extract free of charge with information about which personal data is registered about you, the purposes of the processing of this personal data, and information about where this personal data was obtained from and to whom recipients. has been or will be released. You also have the right to receive information in the register extract about the predicted period during which the data will be stored or the criteria used to determine this period. You also have the right to find out about the existence of automated decision-making (including profiling).
